What macOS version does Aika require?

macOS 15 Sequoia or later. It is a native SwiftUI app. Older system versions are not supported.

Is this a subscription? Do I pay monthly?

No. You pay $4.99 once. Later updates are included. There is no monthly plan.

Does Aika collect my data or send my calendar events anywhere?

Calendar and reminders stay on the Mac through EventKit. Focus history is stored in local preferences. Aika does not create an account and does not send events to a server. The marketing site uses Microsoft Clarity. The app does not.

Is Aika a good alternative to Itsycal?

If you only want a month in the menu bar, Itsycal is free and fine. Aika adds clocks, join buttons, a focus timer, and typing an event as a sentence. Still a one-time price.

How does Aika compare to Dato?

Can I join Zoom, Google Meet, and Teams meetings from my menu bar?

Aika integrates with Apple Calendar, which syncs with Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Exchange, and other CalDAV services. Add your accounts in System Settings → Internet Accounts, and all your events appear in Aika automatically.
